Sheen Aikido first opened at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre
on 10th November 2003.Join
our Monday Family Aikido class and learn how to use your body effectively.After some gentle warm-up
exercises, students will practice safe falling,
avoidance, how to disturb an opponent's balance, execute throws and learn
controlling techniques.Skill games makes learning Self Defence fun for all ages. This Aikido
class is suitable for the individual and parents with children, as everyone
works at their own pace.
Regular Family Aikido classes are run on Monday
evenings.The emphasis is on basics
and natural body movement, this leads to a good posture and a sound self defence
structure for the student, building self awareness and self confidence.The aerobic content of the classes help and improve fitness and the
general well being of the student.
